The second International Conference of Aerial Archaeology, “From Aerostats to Drones: aerial imagery in Archaeology” will be held in Rome on 3-5 February, 2016.
The conference aims to give a representative view of the methodologies and techniques driving the Italian and international scene. Themes include pioneering research and historical aerial imagery; aerial photo-interpretation and photogrammetry, projects and applications of drones (or UAVs) in archaeology.
Key dates
The organizers invite the submission of abstracts. These should not exceed 500 words including the title and author affiliation, and should be sent to the organising committee by 20 September 2015.
